TO BE AN ARTIST

I like to perform since i was a little,be it in singing or dancing.I can say that,performing is part of my life and i live my life for that.Well,long before i know and realise WHAT I WANT TO BE,i was actually dont have the GUTS to step out and make my dreams come true.My journey for 6 years(again,this is before i decided to step out)as a hairstylist,netherless to say,i learned to know certain type of things that indirectly bring the good and the bad effects in my life.Even i do know and realise that i do actually wasted my dreams for 6 years,BUT,the journey that ive been thru for the past 6 years was really a mixture of happiness as well as bitterness to me.And it makes me stronger and grew up to be in more control of myself,especially in making a decision;judgement on peoples views and the way we should love and being loved in community.Hence,its a more than a lesson taught to me rather than just a plain "girl-next-door"story..
I was never been apart from my arts and performance,be it on singing,dancing,drama,debating,public speaking,short drama,story telling,poems,several beauty pagents and even been invited to ASTRO chinese talk show 3 years back!Well,its not only the terrific experience i had but also i learn a lot from these exposure.From catwalking to how to carry yourself like an elegant lady,the arts of communication,when you should keep quite when you have to and when to voice out.PSSSSTTTTT-ITS A GIRL'S THING!!you know what im saying??please dont get me wrong,its not all about gossiping or talking bout someones back!What i meant is,as a woman,we should know how to carry ourself confidently,as an elegant,charming,up to date lady!!Especially in this era!
As an aspiring artist,looks is just another subject,which can only help us or push us just for a certain level.Sadly to say that its still a major concern to the local industry here(i might be wrong,please pardon me if i do)but i believe that to be on the top and really be different from others,or to survive in this industry.You're not only need to be different BUT also be"knowledgeable and also presentable"an ALL ASPECTS in this industry,and it takes a lot of DICIPLINE,DETERMINATION AND SACRIFICE to reach your dreams.Even its not a Gurantee that you will be on top.But hey,at least you had tried your very very best.(OR DO YOU???)I find a lot of young people especially give too much excuses(which i also used to be once upon a time in china!!hahah!!)So,if you ask me who am i just to give advises since im just a "nothing or nobody"now,i would say
that,because i learn my mistakes,wasted my 6 long years and dont have the guts to step my first foot out in this line.I hope my experience will tell you indirectly that you shouldt be afraid to step forward,to be what you want to be.Go for the strive and be brave enough to experince the road.It will help you in buliding yourself esteem and dont let other people or afraid of what will your surrondings say about you-they will not give you YOUR FUTURE.BUY YOU HOUSE OR GIVE YOU MONEY!YOU DECIDE YOUR OWN FUTURE.Stay away from people that give you a shrug when you said you want to be an artist-cause it wont help you to acheived what your desire.Some people tend to say this"what???!!!aiyo,industry line ha???be an artist ha??dont want lah,,not good one leh.."My friend,its not the entertaiment industry that makes a person bad BUT its oneself ATTITUDE!!If you know how to carry yourself well,nothing will happen..even if it does,what do you care??get what i meant?
So,to all my insipirng artist wannabe friends.DONT GIVE UP!!LETS DO IT TOGETHER!!GAMBATEH!!!
